We are recruiting - full stack developer
We're looking for a new full stack developer to join Digital Commons and become part of the team delivering projects like LandExplorer, Data for Housing Justice and the Cooperative World Map. We've working toward some exciting work with LLMs for justice movements too.
This is a fully flexible, fully remote role. We're looking for someone with capacity for 3 days per week, who loves working independently and in a self-managing way. You'll be a great fit for this role if you get really excited about the potential for movement-led tech, and want to work in a co-operative and collaborative way to help DCC contribute and move to the next level.
We are a small, part time team, with most people doing between 1 and 3 days a week on DCC work. We all work remotely and aim to come together for strategy days at least three times a year. Our team is currently based in London, Oxford, Plymouth, Norwich, Sheffield, Edinburgh and South Wales
We strive to work in a non-hierarchical way with a high degree of autonomy, and aim toward cooperative principles. Our ways of working are emerging and evolving all the time and we are excited to see how this new role shapes and changes the culture of DCC.
Practicalities
We envisage that this role will need about 21 hours a week. We are very flexible and recognise that work can fluctuate over a week, month, year. These are employed roles with an hourly rate of £26.10. We each keep track of hours worked and our monthly pay varies according to the hours we work.
