Designer, Code-Operative

Melissa (aka Mel) is a generalist designer and has worked with Code-Operative since 2019 and has been Co-operative Director since 2021. She brings a rigorous usability-oriented approach to thinking about technology design, to ensure that the user experience is paramount. But her skills don’t just stop there, Mel is also an illustrator, 3D artist, project manager and business analyst. She loves the co-operative movement and has participated in projects led by multiple co-operatives both nationally and internationally. Her dream is to pursue medicine within virtual reality, spending most of her MA degree researching the rehabilitation & regenerative effects of her ideas and typing them up into many, many words.
